Vera'S Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. shrimp
    1 onion, finely chopped
    1/2 c. celery, finely chopped
    1/2 c. bell pepper, finely chopped
    1/4 c. margarine or butter, melted
    1 (6 to 8 oz.) mushrooms, drained
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    cayenne pepper to taste
    1 c. sour cream
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    hot cooked rice or fettucini noodles, cooked by pkg. instructions
Preparation
    Peel and clean shrimp.
    Saute shrimp, onion, celery and bell pepper in butter or margarine on low heat for 10 minutes or until shrimp are tender. Add mushrooms. Cook 5 minutes longer. Sprinkle flour, salt and pepper.
    Blend well. Stir in sour cream and cream cheese. Cook gently for 10 minutes (allowing cream cheese to melt), not allowing mixture to boil. Serve over hot rice or fettucini noodles.
