Jollof Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 oz. can tomato paste
    2 c. raw rice
    2 lb. chicken, cut up
    2 large onions, chopped
    2 bouillon cubes
    1/4 to 1/2 c. oil
    1 c. mixed vegetables
    1 to 2 hot peppers (optional)
    4 c. water
Preparation
    Salt and pepper chicken, then brown in oil.
    Then fry onions and 1 or 2 hot peppers.
    Boil together chicken, bouillon cubes, tomato paste, onions, vegetables and rice (salt according to taste).
    After bringing to a boil, turn heat low for about 30 to 40 minutes.
    Cover, stirring occasionally.
