Ginger Creams - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. hot coffee
1/2 c. butter or shortening
3/4 c. molasses
1 egg
2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
Preparation

Add to melted shortening and mix well.
Spread on large cookie sheet with edges.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
Frost while warm with thin confectioners sugar icing.
(Dough can also be dropped by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet 2 1/2 inches apart.)
