Pineapple Silver - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. milk, scalded and cooled to lukewarm
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 oz. yeast (1 cake)
1 c. butter or oleo (oleo is good)
2 1/2 c. flour, sifted
3 beaten egg yolks
powdered sugar icing
ground nuts (sprinkled on top)
Preparation

Dissolve sugar and yeast in lukewarm milk and set aside.
Sift flour and then measure.
Add butter or oleo; mix like for pie crust.
Add yeast and milk mixture to beaten egg yolks; mix well.
