Prune Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. oil
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. flour (scant)
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. cooked or soaked prunes
1/2 c. chopped nut meats
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Mix oil and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, and beat.
Sift together flour, soda, baking powder and salt.
Add dry ingredients, alternating to egg mixture with 1 cup buttermilk. Add vanilla.
Fold in prunes and nuts.
