Pecan Pie Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix (reserve 2/3 c.)
    1/2 c. melted oleo
    1 egg
    2/3 c. cake mix
    1 c. corn syrup
    2/3 c. brown sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine first 3 ingredients.
    Press into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Mix next 5 ingredients and pour over crust.
    Sprinkle chopped pecans over top and bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Cool; cut in squares and serve.
