Green Tomato Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. green tomatoes
    1/2 gal. onions
    1 qt. vinegar
    1/2 gal. bell pepper
    4 large cucumbers
    5 c. sugar
Preparation
    Cut peppers, onions and cucumbers into chunks.
    Add vinegar and sugar; cook 15 minutes after it starts to boil.
    Cut tomatoes into chunks and add to mixture.
    Cook 5 minutes more.
    Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
