Refrigerator Pickle Cuke Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 large pickle cukes, slice 1/4-inch thick but not peeled
    2 tsp. salt
    3 green onions, chopped (stems included)
    1 Tbsp. dill (fresh preferred, but dry okay)
    1 lemon, thinly sliced
    1/2 c. cider vinegar or white wine vinegar
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Wash cucumbers but do not peel; cut crosswise into 1/4-inch slices.
    In a large bowl, combine cucumbers and onions.
    Sprinkle in salt and dill.
    Stir well.
    Let stand, uncovered, for 1 to 2 hours.
    Stir occasionally.
