Treasure Chest Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. nuts (any kind)
    1 c. maraschino cherry halves
    16 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Blend in 2 eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with 3/4 cup milk.
    Stir in nuts, cherries and chips.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes. Make frosting and spread while still warm.
