Velvety Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. milk
1/2 c. minus 1 Tbsp. cocoa
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
4 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 Tbsp. margarine
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
1 c. whipped topping
Preparation

Scald the milk in the top of a double boiler.
Mix the dry ingredients together and add to the scalded milk.
Stir until blended and cook, stirring often, until mixture begins to thicken. Cover and cook over low heat for 15 minutes.
Remove from heat; add margarine and vanilla.
Stir and cool slightly.
