Chocolate Sunday Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    3 egg yolks
    3 Tbsp. cold water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. gelatin
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 egg whites, beaten stiff
    1 c. sweetened whip cream
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. grated chocolate (semi-sweet)
Preparation
    Sweeten whip cream with 1 teaspoon sugar.
    Add sugar and salt to lightly beaten yolks.
    Bring milk to boil.
    Pour over first mixture gradually and cook in double boiler over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in gelatin soaked in cold water.
    Add vanilla and nutmeg and cool.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Fold into mixture.
    Pour into pastry shell or graham cracker crust. Beat cream and 1 teaspoon sugar, pour over the mixture and sprinkle on the grated chocolate.
