Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 1/2 c. plain flour
2 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda, dissolved in hot water
2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
1 c. buttermilk or 1 tsp. vinegar in plain milk
Preparation

Mix butter, Crisco and sugar real good.
Add salt and soda, then alternate eggs, flour and buttermilk.
Add vanilla last. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
