Hot Endive Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 egg
4 heaping Tbsp. sugar
2 level Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1 c. water
endive
bacon

Preparation

Beat egg.
Add sugar, flour, vinegar and water and beat. Brown bacon.
Pour off grease.
Add egg mixture to bacon and cook until it thickens.
Pour over endive, lettuce or any other greens.
