Sour Cream Pound Cake(Optional: Pecan Cake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. Crisco (can use all butter or all oleo)
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sour cream
    1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. cake flour
    2 c. chopped pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening (butter).
    Beat egg yolks and add to sugar mixture.
    Sift flour, salt and soda and add to mixture, stirring in sour cream alternately with the flour mixture.
    Beat egg whites and fold in lightly.
    If using pecans, fold in now. Bake in tube pan 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0.
