Stuffed Green Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large green peppers
    1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    1 c. dry bread crumbs
    1 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    pepper
    1 can tomato sauce (8 oz.)
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cut a thin slice from stem end of each pepper and remove seeds and membranes.
    Heat 1 cup water and 1/2 teaspoon salt to boiling.
    Add peppers.
    Cook 5 minutes and drain. Mix remaining ingredients.
    Stuff and stand peppers upright in ungreased baking dish.
    Cover; bake for 45 minutes.
    Uncover; bake 15 minutes longer.
    Good with baked potatoes.
