Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. plus 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 egg yolks
    1 1/2 c. water
    3 Tbsp. butter
    2 tsp. grated lemon peel
    1/2 c. fresh lemon juice
    2 drops yellow food coloring (optional)
Preparation
    Sift together sugar and cornstarch in saucepan.
    Blend egg yolks and water; stir into sugar.
    Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened and boils.
    Boil 1 minute.
    Remove from heat and add butter and lemon juice and peel.
    Pour into baked pie shell.
