Apple Turnovers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 apples, peeled and sliced thin
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. water
    1 tsp. lemon
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. margarine
    1 Pillsbury refrigerator crust or 1 homemade
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Bring the first 4 ingredients to a boil; simmer 6 to 8 minutes.
    Add flour, sugar, salt, cinnamon and margarine to first ingredients; simmer until thick.
    Spread mixture over half of the pie crust.
    Fold over after brushing edges with mixture of 1 egg and 1 tablespoon water.
    Brush top of crust.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 35 minutes.
