Fried Chicken - cooking recipe

1 whole cut up fryer or your favorite pieces

Place cut up and skinned chicken in cold water; salt and drop several ice cubes in water. Soak for 45 to 60 minutes. Rinse chicken; drain and salt to taste. Roll chicken in flour and fry in electric skillet in hot, melted Crisco on 300\u00b0 until done; turn 2 to 3 times. Enjoy tender-moist golden fried chicken.
