Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. white corn meal
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/2 c. chopped onion

Preparation

Mix all ingredients.
Drop by tablespoon into deep hot fat; fry until brown.
