Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. oil (amount is correct, recommend canola oil)
    3 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. each: cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. diced apples
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Batter will be very stiff.
    Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan at 325\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes or until done.
