Sourdough Starter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    1/2 c. warm water (105~ to 115~)
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 c. warm water
    1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    In a medium mixer bowl, combine yeast and 1/2 cup warm water. Stir until yeast is dissolved. Stir in flour, 2 cups warm water and sugar.
    Beat until smooth. Cover with cheesecloth.
    Let stand at room temperature for 5 to 10 days or until bubbly.
    Stir 2 to 3 times each day.
