Sausage, Potatoes And Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 baking potatoes, peeled and cut into 8 pieces
    2 green peppers, seeded and thin sliced
    1 small onion, sliced
    8 (6-inch) pieces Italian sausage (mild or hot)
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Place potatoes in a single layer in a 2-inch deep baking pan. Next layer peppers and onion. Top with sausage.
    Add water to pan to 1/2-inch deep. Season with salt and pepper. Cover with foil. Bake for 1 1/2 hours. Remove foil. Add more water if it seems dry.
    Continue baking for an additional 45 minutes until sausage is browned and done.
    (Turn sausage halfway.)
    Serves 4.
