Macaroons - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sweetened condensed milk (Eagle Brand type)
    2 c. shredded coconut
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 Tbsp. grated orange peel
    2 egg whites
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix together milk and coconut; add vanilla and stir well.
    Stir in lemon peel.
    Put egg whites into bowl.
    Beat whites with electric mixer on low until frothy.
    Add salt and beat on high until stiff peaks form.
    Fold egg whites into coconut mixture.
    Drop batter by teaspoon onto buttered cookie sheets.
    Bake 15 minutes.
    Cool on flat surface.
    Repeat until all batter is cooked.
