North Carolina Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. softened butter (2 c.)
1 lb. sugar (2 c.)
10 eggs, separated
1 lb. flour (4 c.)
1 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cream butter and sugar.
Lightly beat egg yolks.
Add to butter and sugar mixture.
Add flour, flavoring and baking powder.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Fold into batter.
Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
Bake for 1 hour.
