Chewy Brownies(From 100% Pleasure) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. plus 1/2 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
3 Tbsp. margarine
2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. water
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 large egg whites

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Line 8-inch square baking pan with aluminum foil, overlapping at two ends by 1 1/2 inches.
Spray foil with nonstick spray.
Sift together first 4 ingredients onto wax paper.
Combine chocolate and margarine in saucepan over lowest heat, stirring frequently, until just melted and smooth. Remove from heat and stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, water and vanilla until well blended.
