Rhubarb Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. diced rhubarb
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 c. nuts
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Mix together rhubarb and sugar; let stand for 1/2 hour.
    Add egg, flour, salt and soda.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Pour into ungreased 9-inch square pan.
    Sprinkle brown sugar and nuts on top.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 or 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
