Italian Sweet Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    5 egg yolks
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 small coconut
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream first 3 ingredients.
    Add egg yolks, flour, soda, buttermilk, vanilla, coconut and pecans; mix.
    Gently fold in 5 stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
