Candied Cranberries - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1 qt. cranberries
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Cook the sugar, water, soda and salt until it spins a thread. Wash and drain cranberries.
    Drop berries in syrup; cook for 10 minutes with lid on.
    Leave lid on and remove from fire.
    Let sit until cranberries are cold.
    Will last for weeks in the refrigerator.
