Chocolate Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. Carnation evaporated milk
    1/3 c. margarine
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
    4 c. (8 oz.) miniature marshmallows
    4 c. (two 12 oz. pkg.) chocolate chips
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine sugar, milk, margarine and salt in large saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture comes to a boil.
    Boil 8 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat and add rest of ingredients.
    Stir until chips and marshmallows are melted and blended.
    Pour into buttered 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
    Cool and cut into squares.
    Makes 5 pounds.
