Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. dates, chopped
1 1/2 c. applesauce
1 c. blackberry jam
3 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1 c. nuts
1 c. raisins
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix together the first six ingredients.
Sieve together flour, soda and salt.
Add to dry ingredients, the cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Add nuts and raisins.
Fold in vanilla.
Pour into a Bundt pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for an hour.
Makes 16 servings.
