Spiced Pecans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. pecans (halves)
1 egg white, with 1 tsp. water
1/2 c. sugar, with 1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Beat egg white and water until foamy.
Mix sugar and cinnamon together in a plastic bag.
Put pecans in a large bowl.
Pour egg white over nuts and turn over until nuts are all glossy.
Pour sugar over the nuts and turn over until all nuts are covered. Spread nuts on a very liberally buttered cookie tin with 4 sides. Put in 250\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
But every 15 minutes, turn nuts over on the tin so all get coated.
At end of 1 hour, turn off oven but keep nuts in oven until oven is cold.
This makes them crisper.
