Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. cut up stew meat or 1 lb. hamburg
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 (8 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Cook and stir meat and onion in butter until onion is tender. Stir in flour, salt, pepper and mushrooms; cook 5 minutes.
    Stir frequently.
    Remove from heat and stir in soup; simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.
    Stir in sour cream and heat through using low heat. Serve over noodles, rice, mashed potatoes or toast.
