Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sauerkraut
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
    2 1/2 Tbsp. kraut juice
    1/3 c. green pepper
    1/3 c. celery
    1/3 c. onion
    1 small jar pimentos, drained
Preparation
    Drain sauerkraut and reserve juice.
    Combine sugar, vinegar and kraut juice in a pot.
    Bring to a boil until sugar dissolves. Set aside and let cool.
    Combine sauerkraut and chopped vegetables.
    Pour cooled mixture over sauerkraut.
    Toss well. Cover and chill.
