Brunswick Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 onions, chopped
    2 Tbsp. bacon fat
    1 (2 1/2 lb.) frying chicken
    salt and pepper
    3 c. water
    1 large can tomatoes
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 can butter beans
    1/4 c. okra
    2 cans whole grain corn
    2 Tbsp. oleo
    1/4 c. bread crumbs
Preparation
    Brown onion in bacon fat.
    Cut chicken into serving pieces. Season and fry in bacon grease.
    Pour off fat and place chicken and onion in heavy kettle.
    Add water, tomatoes and Worcestershire sauce.
    Cook slowly over low heat for 1/2 hour.
    Add lima beans, okra and corn.
    Simmer for 1 hour.
    Add oleo and crumbs; cook 1/2 hour longer.
    Makes 6 servings.
