Vidalia Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 large Vidalia onions
    1/2 c. margarine or butter
    1 c. Parmesan cheese
    20 Ritz crackers, crushed
Preparation
    Slice onions into thin rings.
    In large pot saute onions in margarine until limp.
    Pour half of the onions into a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish, cover with 1/2 the cheese and 1/2 the crackers. Repeat.
    Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
