Cranberry-Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 orange
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 egg
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. chopped cranberries
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Grate rind of orange.
    Squeeze juice and add enough boiling water to make 3/4 cup liquid.
    Add the grated rind and butter. Stir to melt the butter.
    In another bowl, beat egg and sugar. Stir into orange mixture.
    Add cranberries and walnuts.
    Sift together the flour, salt and baking soda.
    Add to cranberry mixture.
    Spoon into buttered loaf pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
