Cream Butterscotch Scones - cooking recipe

2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
4 Tbsp. butter
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. whipping cream
3/4 or 1 c. butterscotch morsels
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
Lightly butter cookie sheet.
Mix flour, baking powder, sugar and salt in a large bowl. Work in the butter with your fingers or pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add the beaten eggs, vanilla and cream. Stir until blended. Turn out onto lightly floured board. Knead for a minute. Pat or roll dough about 3/4-inch thick.
Cut into wedges.
Place on cookie sheet and bake about 15 minutes.
