Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter (at room temperature)
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. plain flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
    6 eggs (at room temperature)
Preparation
    Sift flour, soda and salt together.
    Cream butter and sugar. Beat in 2 eggs at a time, then add flour until all is used.
    Add vanilla and sour cream.
    Turn into tube pan, greased with margarine.
    Put in cold oven.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done.
    Do not open oven during baking time.
