7-Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    chopped lettuce
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 can LeSueur peas, drained
    1 pt. Hellmann's mayonnaise
    3 sliced, boiled eggs
    6 slices cooked, crumbled bacon
    Parmesan cheese, grated
Preparation
    To layer, line a 2-quart casserole dish with chopped lettuce. Combine onions and celery to form second layer.
    Third layer, drained peas.
    Spread out Hellmann's mayonnaise to form next layer. Next place sliced eggs and then crumbled bacon.
    Final layer, sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
    Refrigerate several hours or overnight before serving for best flavor.
