Homemade Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. short ribs
3 to 4 lb. potatoes, cut in cubes
2 bunches carrots
2 small onions
1/2 stalk celery
1 pkg. frozen corn
1 pkg. frozen peas
1 pkg. frozen string beans
1 can whole tomatoes
garlic, basil and bay leaf to taste
Preparation

Brown short ribs in small amount of oil or margarine on all sides; cover with water.
Add salt and pepper and cook until ribs are done.
Add about 3 beef cubes and fresh small cut up vegetables (meat is taken out of pot and cut into small pieces and then put back in pot).
Add frozen vegetables.
Check cooking time for tenderness.
Add tomatoes and rest of seasoning.
Cook until all is tender.
Add seasonings and water as needed or desired.
