Pecan Butter Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, softened
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In a large bowl, cream butter with sugar until light and fluffy.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Gradually add flour, blending well after each addition.
    Stir in nuts.
    Cover and chill until firm.
    Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
    Place on a greased baking sheet.
    Bake for 20 minutes or until lightly brown. Remove from sheet and cool.
    Yield:
    3 dozen cookies.
