Shrimp Gumbo With Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 onion
1 each: green and red bell pepper
1 celery
1 tsp. garlic
1 can chicken broth (Swanson)
2 Tbsp. tomato paste
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper (optional)
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 lb. shrimp
Preparation
-
Add all ingredients except shrimp into a large skillet.
Cook until tender.
Deshell and devein raw shrimp.
Add to mixture and simmer 20 to 25 minutes.
Serve over rice.
