Plantation Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. dark corn syrup
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, softened
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Beat eggs slightly.
    Add sugar, corn syrup, butter and vanilla gently until combined.
    Stir in chopped pecans.
    Pour into unbaked 8-inch pie shell.
    May garnish with pecan halves.
    Bake in preheated 375\u00b0 oven until set about 30 minutes.
    May drizzle melted chocolate over cooled pie between pecans.
