Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe

3 eggs
1 1/2 c. cooked or canned pumpkin
1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 unbaked deep dish pastry shell, chilled
Preparation

Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
In large mixing bowl, beat eggs on high speed about 1/2 minute.
Add pumpkin, evaporated milk, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, salt and vanilla.
Beat on low until blended, about 1 1/2 minutes.
Pour into prepared pastry shell.
Bake 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake for 45 minutes or until knife inserted into center of pie comes out clean.
Serve with whipped cream topping.
