Banana Fritters(Caribbean Recipe) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ripe bananas
3/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
oil for frying
Preparation

Peel bananas and mash with fork.
Stir in sugar.
Stir in flour, baking powder and nutmeg.
Fry by spoonful in hot oil; turn and brown on both sides.
Drain on absorbent paper.
Garnish with a sprinkle of sugar.
Serve hot.
