Pecan Crispies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream the sugar and shortening; add the eggs and beat well. Sift the dry ingredients together and add to the first mixture. Add the nuts.
    Drop batter from a teaspoon onto a greased cookie sheet, spacing two-inches apart.
    Bake in a moderate oven, 350\u00b0, for ten to twelve minutes.
    Makes six dozen cookies.
