Tart Cranberry Relish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 oz. fresh cranberries
1 1/2 c. fresh orange juice
1 c. dried apple slices or chunks, coarsely chopped
1/2 c. golden raisins
1/2 c. raisins
2 (2 1/2-inch) strips orange peel, cut into thin julienne strips
1 (3-inch) cinnamon stick, broken in half
8 whole cloves
2 to 3 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
Preparation

Combine all ingredients except red wine vinegar in large non-aluminum saucepan.
Bring to a simmer, stirring to mix well. Cover; reduce heat and cook until cranberries burst and mixture thickens slightly, about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat.
Stir in vinegar.
Cool.
Cover and refrigerate at least overnight and up to 1 week.
Remove from refrigerator 20 minutes before serving.
