Baked Indian Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. scalded milk
    1 c. cold milk
    1 teacup corn meal (yellow)
    1/2 c. molasses
    salt
Preparation
    Scald 1 quart milk; add corn meal and pinch of salt.
    Cook over medium heat to boil.
    Pour into baking dish.
    After 1 hour in oven, stir in 1 cup cold milk, stirring occasionally during baking.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 3 hours.
    Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
