Date Oatmeal Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rolled oats
    1 c. chopped dates
    1 1/4 c. scalded milk
    2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    3/4 c. lite corn syrup
Preparation
    Add rolled
    oats
    and
    dates to milk.
    Let stand for 10 minutes.
    Add
    egg,
    beaten slightly, and corn syrup.
    Mix and sift
    dry ingredients.
    Add milk mixture, stirring only enough to blend
    well.
    Bake\tin moderate oven, 350\u00b0, in greased loaf pan for 1 hour.
