Chinese Chicken Soup * - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. (or more) cooked chicken
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 cube fresh ginger root (optional), sliced thin
    chicken broth
    1 can cream-style corn
Preparation
    Simmer chicken in water with salt and pepper until tender. Remove from bone.
    When cooled, shred chicken with fingers.
    Boil onion and ginger root in broth.
    Remove ginger root from broth. Add shredded chicken and corn.
    Simmer 10 minutes.
